What is like to work as a staff accountant?

I graduated with a degree in accounting recently. I'm still going through interviews but I feel kinda intimidated by the all job responsibilities listed. I feel like this is really affecting my confidence in interviews. I guess I'm just afraid that they'll expect me to know so much and feeling incompetent. What is it like to work as a staff accountant? Do they train you or do they just expect you to know everything since you have the degree? I just want to know what to expect and boost my confidence. Thanks!

Right after I received my BS in Accunting I worked two years as a staff accountant. How was it? In my opinion it was the most boring and tedious two years of my life.
