What are your views on marijuana?

It is non addictive, cheap, and there are no side effects besides hunger and happiness. There have never been ANY deaths reported with marijuana being the cause of death, and the only reason it is illegal is so paper companies don't go out of business (paper used to be made out of marijuana, and it was called hemp paper and the Declaration of Independence was, in fact, written on hemp paper.) and because police officers needed a reason to arrest hippies during the 60's and 70's. Weed is actually considered a medicine in many places and is in fact used to cure quite a few things. It does NOT give you cancer (it is actually given to cancer patients to ease the pain) and it does NOT harm your body in any way. No brain cells get killed and noone has EVER overdosed on it. It is, in fact, better for you than cigarettes, alchohol, or ANY pill (prescription or not). What are your views on this?? Should it be decriminalized or just flat out legalized?? Should it stay illegal?? Why do you think this?? Please explain your answer in detail.

Over many years, people have been brain washed to believe that it is some kind of horrible, when in reality straight marijuana is about the safest thing you could put in your body. Many jobs could come out of legalization seeing as how if we grew and processed marijuana, hemp could be used for a range of products... More

I don't smoke it but I think if they legalized it and taxed the hell out of it, it would actually help the economy. I could care less if it's legal or not, but it would free up space in jails and even prisons and help with the debt we're in (here in the US).

It should be pro choice. Just like everything. It's a fundamental right - life. And people have the ability to give up rights. If they choose to kill themselves, the government shouldn't intervene. They're just stupid. And yes, it is addictive, and many people die of it. Not always directly, but many, many people do... More

I say it should stay illegal. it is addictive and it does cause trouble for people and their families. i grew up with parents who were very addicted to it and they threw away all of our money to get their fix. i remember going without food, clean clothes and not having water to take showers because they "needed" it... Plants that grow naturally in the wild shouldn't be banned. Its only outlawed because gov't agencies are involved in illegal drug trade to fund black ops, Big Pharma makes more with their addictive pain meds, and it opens peoples minds and makes them question their government and thats a huge threat to the State.

First off its not addictive period. Second it does not give you cancer because weed doesn not have tar for instance tar is added to the filter not the tabacco. In most cases unless the weed is laced it goes straight from the plant to whatever u are smoking it from. You cannot get physically addicted to marijuana. If u... More
