What is the average salary of a person who is graduating with an undergrad degree in sociology?

Hi, I'm intrested in working in the non-profit sector jobs related with social work, working with youth, campain mangement, comunity activism, teaching, ect. Is there information I can get in regards to wages in my line of work? Secondly, I've considered looking at positions that have to deal with volunteer coordinatior, designing curiculum ect

it depends on where you go to get the degree and how good it is but in general it is not a particularly strong degree

To be honest, with a sociology degree you won't be as competitive because sociology curriculum does not include course work on working with individuals, groups, communities, community service, and policy, development and planning. Sociology is more of a "general" degree in the work force... More
