Is it possible to work PRN weekends only in a nursing home?

I been working at a nursing home for a year now. But I'm moving 2 hours away to go to school. I was thinking instead of just quitting to work weekends only as a PRN? I became really attached to these people and the nursing home job pays a little more than my new job anyways. So to work week days at my new job. Is it worth it though or is it possible to work PRN weekends only?
