How noticeable is a nose piercing hole?

I really want a nose piercing, but I'm aware that piercings aren't professional. So if I were to take it out just for an interview, would that decrease my chances of having the career I want? If it makes a difference, I wanna be a social worker of some sort. Thanks.

The hole will close up in a matter of minutes even if you've had the piercing for over 2 years. But you can always put in a nose piercing retainer if your job doesn't allow piercings. Make sure to get a high qaulity quartz retainer though and not some cheap flimsy plastic one... More

It hardly alters your chances I know waitress in high class restaurants that have nose piercings. So it want alter ur chance and they ate pretty noticable
