Are there electricians in the Army or Navy?

I still have more weight to lose but I am a certified an licensed electrician looking to join the military (life here isn't what I want it to be). I've heard that there are no electrician jobs in the Navy or the army because most electrician are contractors.

There are plenty of electricians in the Navy. Look at the ET rate for the Navy.

Their are electricians in every branch. I myself am an electrician in the Marines. Electrician is very broad though you can be Aviation Electrician, Basic Electrician, electrician on a ship, and many technician jobs.
