Does a Certified Nursing Assistant need a degree or to be registered?

I'm just graduating highschool and I want a job this summer that can save me as much money as possible for college. Am I the kind of person who is eligible for a Certified Nursing Assistant? Or is there a degree and education and things already required?

You have to be certified. I do not think the certificate takes long to earn ,however it will take longer than summer. There are jobs at a hospital that you do not need to be certified for . Like transportation. ( pushing the patients from place to place) Hope I helped.
