401K Investment Selections?

I need help selecting my investment options and percentages. These are what I have to select from. Keep in mind I am well over 30...... Morgan Stanley U.S Govt Money Market Trust Calvert Income Fund Pioneer Strategic Income Fund AllianceBernstein 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020, 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045, 2050, 2055 Retirement Strategy Eaton Vance Large Cap Value Fund Pioneer Equity Income Fund Alger Capital Appreciation Institutional Fund American Century Growth Fund Pioneer mid Cap Value Fund Victory Special Value Fund Oppenheimer Main Street Small Cap Fund AllianceBernstein Small Cap Growth Portfolio DWS Global Thematic Fund Pioneer Emerging Markets Fund AIM Global Real Estate Fund You are correct, I should have learned this stuff years ago, but I never took 401k's too serious...... I've seen friends lose their complete 401K's due to greed of companies that no longer exist... I am 40 and feel I can still save plenty by the time I hit 65. I guess I don't want someone to plan my retirement, just wasn't sure which ones were more risky than the others. But from what I have researched, someone my age needs to invest in riskier stocks in order to get the most return. The question is, is it worth the risk or is it better to put the money in a savings or IRA account??? Guess I need to figure that out on my own.
