Can employer require you to use your personal credit for business expenses?

My husband works for a very large company as an outside sales specialist and is required to use his personal credit card for business expenses. We only had 1 card we could use for emergencies and his charges are very high and gets used a lot! We now don't have that card for emergencies since it is usually maxed out and our credit scores are hurting for having such high balances. Is this legal and how can we ask the company to issue a corporate card to him?

Nowhere is it legal that I know of where an employer can make an employee use their personal credit line for the benefit of their business. This is ludicrous. What is next, making employees contribute to the payroll fund because the company is short on money to meet payroll?

so get another card for his business purposes. It's not frikkin rocket science. THIS is why you people always whine about the government controlling everything. You think they really do !!!! THIS IS WHY YOU NEED A UNION.
