Gov Chrispie Kreme just ordered a dragnet thrown out over poor ppL on Medicaid who will be audited IRS-style to "be sure," as their notice-letters say, they are "still qualified."
The auditors demand the Medicaid recipients produce bank statements going back THREE years and documentation of all forms of income and spending for that period.
Awww, not enough documentation, gosh, we're SO sorry, but we must terminate your med coverage immediately....oh, and we may require you to pay back $thousands bc we overpaid for your glasses...we DO collect interest, you know.
