I got a job at KBR purchasing parts and machinery. No college experience. Can I become an engineer for free?

Fresh out of HS, I got an interview by a little help of an influential executive in the company and got the job the next day. Most of my colleagues are experienced engineers and draftsmen. My main job is to purchase specific parts for our current project and rent equipment at a good price and quality. Then structure them into databases according to the engineering charts. Will this experience replace a college degree. Its a major engineering/construction company.

No. You are not designing or building anything. What you might see is if they will kick in for your college education.

KBR is only active in Nigeria, dumbass. They're going to have you running the Nigerian Consullate looking for people not unlike yourself to help launder money via e-mail.

No. Buying stuff does not make you an engineer. It makes you a glorified housewife.

Sure! KBR is a Texas corporation. I don't think you even need a high school diploma to be an engineer there.
