Which city to live and work in America out of these?

Hi. I wanna shift to America. I want to be a software engineer and I am looking for a city with software engineering jobs, pleasant climate (not too hot , not too cold). My options are: 1. Charlotte , NC 2. Raleigh , NC 3. Boston , MA 4. Greensboro , NC 5. Seattle , WA 6. Salt Lake City , UT 7. Detroit , MI 8. Chicago , IL I want friendly people. Please give some details about the city. Thanks in Advance!

based on climate anything in north carolina. Best climate out of your options. Though hot and humid in summer, but not too cold in winter.

7 or 8 I would leave out. Boston is very very cold in winter. Think the top part of Scotland
