Can mice hurt cats by attacking them or retaliating when the cat tries to kill the mouse?

So we just discoverd that we hav mice coming in through our garage, and we have 2 cats, if our cats go try to kill the mice will the mice try and attack our cats and hurt them? Will the mice sucseed in hurting them id he tries?

It is possible for a mouse to bite a cat but quite unlikely as cats hunt from behind,and cats hunt in three stages,first catch it usually with a bite to its back of neck,then they stun it by throwing it up in the air and often let it go so it can run but the cat will do it again,then once its stunned they kill it with... the mouse CAN bite the cat, so that's what you gotta be careful with, but the cats will usually attack and kill the mouse before it can defend itself cuz cats have claws meant for shredding rodents into little pieces

mice should fear for their lives...cats are much too wily for them...they may get nipped but mice can't really do any harm...rats on the other hand can inflict nasty wounds,and i have heard of rats actually attacking cats,but i doubt that would happen...if a cat has not been around a rat it could get bit...but most... My cat got bitten on the nose by a mouse. A tiny little fieldmouse it was. We saw it happen one night. Her nose started to swell and we had to get her on antibiotics.

cats always kill mice and they can bite but they mostly run and there biting it wont hurt them
