Double Citizen with a philippine diploma of "BS Hotel & Restaurant Management"?
Hello Guys .. I am 17 years old and a double citizen in Austria & Philippines .. I lived 16 years of my life in austria and planned to go to an university in the Philippines. I speak fluently German & English and a little Tagalog.. This coming week the school will start. I'm enrolled at the Far Eastern University(Manila) in "Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management". It takes all in all 4 years to graduate. My Questions about it: 1) If i have got the graduate diploma in this course, can i go ""for instance"" to an hotel in Spain?(As Austrian citizen i have the freedom to work/live in every country of the European Union). 2) What about when i want to work in the states as a hotel manager?(assistance at beginning i guess..) Because in an older question of mine a guy said that the filipino diploma is not much weighted in other countries .. but he ignored totally that i am not a usual Filipino who wants to work abroad.. 3) In case i want to work at first for some time in manila in a five star hotel.. what are my chances? (Ofcourse not immediately as a manager) But what jobs could i get with my diploma in a hotel? (I saw m any FEU graduates who got a job in Hyatt, shangri la, peninsula.. all 5stars..) 4) Does anybody care like when i go to Vienna, Austria in a hotel(NOT IN THE US!!!!) and apply there with my diploma from "FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY" or anybody with a diploma from "DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY" (I think they would rather take me because i am german speaking and anyway nobody cares i think bout the school names in the philippines) - this question filipinos may only know 5)Is it hard to get on a cruise ship in my situation ? Like royal carribean ? .. I hope u know answers to my questions :D thank u very much ^^ PS: for some who overread! I am not usual filipino who wants a chance to work in the states! :)

The absolute LACK of any REAL employment opportunities in the Philippines had created a growth industry there--training courses. Get a similar course in reputable schools in Europe or in Singapore, if you like SE Asian so much. The qualification is not recognised even regionally so why wasting your time, effort and money to fly all the way back for a junk standard of education?
