Should I get a single Verizon Wireless plan?

I have been using a Motorola Tracfone for almost 3 years, and I'd like to switch it up a little. My family has been considering getting a family plan, but I don't think it's happening anymore. Anyway, I was looking into the single plans, and my estimate comes to around 2.4 GB/month of data usage (talk, text, email, web) and at around $79.99/month. I do have a job at my school where I make a good amont of money every two weeks, so I wouldn't be scrapping the barrel, but I just don't know if $80 a month is too much. The texting plan would be 1000 per month, 450 minutes of talking, and a 2 GB data plan. I'm not a heavy texter or talker, but I'm not a light one either, which is why I chose the 1000 text per month. Does this sound like a good single plan to you - $79.99/month with the features that I described? I wouldn't for sure be doing this now, but I was going to talk with my parents and possibly do it for a birthday present.

It is much better to go with a prepaid plan such as boost mobile that offers unlimited text, unlimted talk or unlimited internet for $50.00 or $55.00 for smartphones (android cell phones). This way... More
