Looking for a Job abroad, Best place to start?

Hey everyone, Ive been in my current and first real job for 2 years now and Ive realised that the job offer I got wasnt all it was cracked up to be. I am currently an Apprentice survival equipment technition contracted by the RAF with a company called SERCO. As I am an apprentice I have minor further qualifications (Engineering NVQ lv2 and Currently sitting a BTEC 3 in Engineering) on top of a pretty impressive set of GCSEs. Long story short.. I want to move abroad and start my life for real. Being only 19 Ive got no real ties to this country, no morgage, unpaid bills or family of my own to worry about. Of course Parents/Grandparents and blood family are an issue but thats a hurdle that I understand I will have to get over. My main aim to emmigrate to somewhere like Australia, North America, Europe (maybe) or Asia. I was wondering if anyone would have any idea where to start looking. Ideally I would love a job in mechanical engineering or engineering in general but I know I dont have the right qualifications. So anything would do. Can anyone offer and ideas or websites that may be worth reading up on to give me a boot up the bum and get the ball rolling.. Any help appreciated Tom

Look at the Consulate/Embassy websites for the countries that you are interested in, specifically at the type of visa's and their requirements and 'Work Permits'. For instance, you cannot just to to Australia or America for working purposes without the appropriate visa/work permit.
