You need to have a job sponsored by a licensed UK employer who has tried to advertise for four weeks to find a suitable UK/EU resident worker. If that has failed, they can apply for your certificate of sponsorship which you will need in order apply for your visa.

You can either have a sponsor that is a resident of the country or have an immigrant visa or working visa for the UK or apply for residency or citizenship for UK only if you meet the criteria for being a citizen there. Only then will you be able to settle in UK legally with your UK passport.
