It depends on what you are wanting to do. Because of the aging population there will always be jobs in healthcare. It certainly isn't a dying field like, newspaper publication. Nurses are in short supply, both LPN/LVN and RNs. You can get an LPN license in about 13 months and get you RN associate degree in 2 years. Physical and Occupational Therapists are also in demand. The medical field is definitely the area to go into. Good pay and you can get a job just about anywhere in the country.
