How important is Credit History for LAPD Hiring Process?

I have always wanted to become a police officer with the lapd but i co-signed a few people where i have delinquencies, repos (vehicle) and inquiries. My criminal background is very clean and never had any speeding tickets what so ever. i am 29. Please help with suggestions.

In addition to what Les said (above), get copies of the contracts showing you were a co-signer, not the main buyer along with a written statement as to why you co-signed for a loan. Any time someone needs a co-signer is because their credit either doesn't exist or they have bad credit. It's always a big risk to do... More
