Can a two year degree in machine technology substitute two years of work experience when looking for a job?

I am going to school to become a machinist. I will receive an associates in machine technology. Pretty much all of the companies I want to work for after I graduate require minimum of 2 years of experience, and the only experience I will have will be the two years in the program. Will companies accept this as two years of experience?

No, they are looking for education + 2 years of experience. It's not going to hurt to apply for anyone asking for 2 years or fewer of experience since they are still entry-level jobs, but it's going to be hard - the first job is always the hardest to get regardless what field you're in.
