Do you need a different device for fish finder, depth finder etc?

I'm looking at boats for sale and I've noticed that some of them say on the options "fish finder, depth finder". I am wondering if I need one device for those 2 things plus gps or are there devices that have all 3 things? I imagined that the fish finder included depth finder.

You can't trust a digital display alone. Sometimes there is a weak return from the bottom, or it's too deep, and the sounder starts autoscaling on returns from fish or the boat keel, so suddenly the display starts saying there's only 5 feet of water or something. A graphic display will make it a lot more obvious which... More
