Job.. paycheck....jack in the box..?
I just started working in a jack in the box and i was wondering how much time do you have to work to get the paycheck? They pay every 2weeks my mom told me that they have to keep the 1st paycheck.. I started working the day they gave the checks out... What if i tell them to put it on my debit card? Will i get it that day or do i have to wait a little more days?

They are on a two week cycle and usually pay on the Friday of the week following. So you will get a partial paycheck on the next payday for the part of the pay period you did work. They don't keep a week of pay, it's just that they are always a delay while they do all the payroll calculations.
