I want to lay concrete on my own ?

My edges to my concrete in my carport are pretty beat up and I want to make the looking straight again. With put hiring someone, I want to do it myself. What do I need in order to lay some concrete ? Thank you.

Remove all of the broken pieces. Put a 2 x 4 piece of wood along the area you want to straighten out, this is to hold the concrete in, buy enough bags of Quikrete to do the job - read the bag for coverage information. at a hardware store buy a TUB of plastic cement or patching cement you use a trowel to put it on follow directions on the container
