Online summer school? seriously? what happened to normal school you have ot go to? online schools are a joke. especially for grades k-12. any sufficiently intelligent kid can easily do no work and use google to do all the work for them. the only work is using google and using ctrl-c and ctrl-v alot and notepad to filter out the formatting, so it's not obvious it's c/p off hte net. i believe online school teaches kids nothing. because those who are lost use y! ans to help them and still learn nothing from it.

best place to start is obviously a list of all organizations. you can go non profit, lobbyist, or special interest groups. non profit- IRS. lobbyist- pick a topic you like and google. special interest, some thing as lobbyist.

MSM (mainstream media) has done a very poor job of educating the public about our 2nd amendment rights. they misuse terms and generally only share the absolute worst examples of gun use (because legal gun use stories are boring and will not attract viewers/readers)
NRA & calguns are lobbyist groups. NRA is national rifle association, founded 1871 to promote firearms ownership, marksmanship and safe use shortly after the civil war.
calguns is from California, where there's a ton of ridiculous, poorly written, confusing laws more aimed at to put the law abiding citizen in jail instead of actually preventing criminals from having guns.
thr is an online community of gun owners, firearms enthusiasts, hunters promoting the safe & responsible use of firearms.
MSM makes the public believe criminals can buy guns at a gun store easily (which is not possible) and that gun stores sell "assault rifles", also an outright lie. gun stores never sold assault rifles. heck, after 1934 there's no way to obtain an automatic weapon in the USA without a ton of paperwork and stringent background checks by the government's 3-letter agencies like FBI, CIA, DHS, DEA, etc.
MSM also makes the public believe that guns kill people. but guns are inanimate objects. they will not cause any harm by itself. there must be a person to use it or it's just a lump of metal. is guns killed people then cars kill people too. in fact cars injure far more people than guns do. but yet I don't see cars being locked up in high security facilities when not in use. it's not a felony to drive a car without a license. there's no 10 day wait to pick up a car after buying it, and there's certainly no background, psychological or other checks to buy a car!. a nut job with a car can easily cause more harm to people than a gun ever can. in fact they already do. every day in every state (50+ times a day) someone tries to evade the law by driving away, no caring about endangering pedestrians, other drivers, property and police officers. a shooting rampage doesn't happen every day. psychos in cars causing damage and threatening hundreds of lives happen daily. most of it ignored by the news! this is just an example of how biased the news media is about guns.
MSM further makes things more complicated by reporting accidental discharges by cops- it's not he gun's fault, it's poor cop training. in fact if you actually consider it, the times where a gun is at fault in an accidental discharge, it probably happened 20 times in the last 50 years. the vast majority of accidents are completely preventable had people followed proper gun safety- the very thing the NRA & other pro gun organizations emphasize on. you can't blame the gun. it's not the gun's fault if the user was incompetent or decided not to follow safety procedures. otherwise every drunk driver in the USA can blame the car or the alcohol for every DUI-related crash, injury or death.
