anyone knows if the old moog synthesizer mimicked sounds of other musical instruments?

I know that the modern synthesizer keyboards imitate the sounds of physical instruments such as guitar, piano, violin, etc., but I wonder if those keyboards moog also imitated the sounds of common instruments because I only see people playing it in electronic timbres. was moog sounds of musical instruments or electronic sounds only?
