Auto finance co fraud HELP ?

So I am paying for this car hrough some financing agency called foreman financial for the last year and not too long ago I unfortunately got into a motorcycle accident, due to that I lost my job and so couldn't make the car payments for about 3 months, they repo the car (with out even asking for they key first) made the 3 payments a week later spent around $1800 GOT THE CAR BACK TO FIND THE BROKEN STEETING WHEEL ON THE SEAT, THEY CUT OFF THE SHIFTING CABLE,AND MESSED UP THE SRS AIRBAG. It's over $2000 to get it back to normal and I'm still paying for it what to do!? They said they repo it tht way but it's impossible cause I was driving the car a day before . Should I get a lawyer or what!! :(

"They" are responsible. "They" can say anything they want but If I were you, I would first visit the manager of the finance company and (calmly ) ask that they pay for repairs. If they won't I would consult with a lawyer.
