Is death a supernatural being like god?

After I saw a commercial about death saving us from demons video game igoogled this question but I ended up in some weird version of Wikipedia and anyone can change those and it said that death was in the bible as a being and they weren't sure who was older god or death .

Death is a state of being and no entity is behind it. Beside no one ever truly dies you just move on to something else. Scientifically speaking our bodies are capable of immortality, we just have not reach the point in our evolution yet where our bodies are operating at 100% efficiency.
