They are interesated in tax cuts for billionaires, and deregulation of all business activity no matter how risky or harmful to the national community.

What they want is no rules and no taxes.

It would be Wild Wild West circa 1900 -- the Robber Barons come back for a new appearance, and the USA blossoms into a second Gilded Age.

Once upon a time, not long ago there was a case in the Supreme Court called Citizens United.

That case allowed Justice Scalia to write one of the most shocking and outrageous opinions ever to be issued by the Supreme Court.

It said that money is a form of speech, therefore the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance bill had to be struck down, and nullified.

Without campaign finance reform Washington becomes a complete and total Wh*rehouse.

Every single legislator becomes a complete and total Wh*re.

The Dems are owned by the unions.

The GOP are owned by the billionaires.

The billionaires already have money.

They just want one thing -- no taxes and no regulations.

Ideally they would like to move all the labor intensive parts of business overseas, to India and Brazil, and South Korea, and Taiwan, and then bring the product back to USA and sell it at Wal-Mart or Lowes or Bloomingdales.

They would thereby fully exploit their fellow citizens in USA, extracting the maximum profit from them, while giving them nothing whatsoever, no even employment in exchange.

The Lloyd Blankfein mentality is the standard business mind in the 21st century USA. Takes everything you can get without getting jailtime, and give nothing.

It's the crocodile mind.

This is not the way Henry Ford thought, or Edison, or Westinghouse, or Firestone, or even Gates, or Jobs, or Warren Buffett.

We have come down a long way form post WWII America which was patriotic, vibrant, loyal to each other, generous, and inventive -- to our new crocodile mind America which is every man for himself, greedy, braindead, selfish, and wants to just rake it in for nothing.

Of course this means peeling off a few million to buy the campaigns of politicians, who then proceed to vote for no taxes and no regulations, so you can have even more billions on the theory that the main problem with USA is that wealth is not concentrated enough, it needs to be more concentrated.

Why should the top 1?wn only 50?f the nation's wealth, when in a Wild Wild West environment they could own 75?r even 85?

Historically this kind of wealth concentration has not worked out that great for the wealthy. The last time things got to this level there was a thing called the French Revolution and the ultra-wealthy were taken to the guillotine and had their heads chopped off. The French are a very passionate people -- but so are we.

America was designed so that economic equality would support political and legal equality. It works best when 90?f its people are in the middle class, with 5?eing "poor" and 5?eing "rich", and everybody else in the middle class.

What we have now is a middle class that contains about 40?f the population, with another 40?eing "poor", and the last 10?eing "rich" (and the top 1?wning most of the wealth).

This distribution arrangement does not support political or legal equality -- and then when Justice Scalia takes away campaign contribution limits -- the big banks and Big Oil and Big Coal wind up running the country outright. Nobody else has any say in anything. You can write to your bought and paid for Congressman or Senator all you want, but no one is as hard to convince as the man who is being paid to hold the opposite belief.

The crocodiles are in charge, the People are out of the loop. So the answer to your question is YES, but it isn't limited to conservatives -- it would take a huge fundamental shift in our entire outlook and way of doing business to bring the People's Voice back into the political process in USA. Think Richter Scale 9.56 earthquake --- that kind of huge shift in the ground we walk on.
