I need help finding what military will best serve me? I really need some help would graciously appreciate it!!?

I am Criminal justice 4yr graduate, i am interest in joining the army or the air force. i am 5'5 weight 210lb, my body fat is 22?i am looking for career in intelligence i have not taken the asvab test will be doing so in the next couple of weeks. I would do anything to better my life. My goal is to get as much knowledge i can get from the military and seek a better job when i get out, a career job in my field of study. If i go in the army i will be an e4 or go in the air force as an e3. or both as an officer which i do not think i qualify do to the weight. Weight for me is a big problem. no i am not lazy i workout almost everyday i have a trainer for 3 days out of the week. i do the insanity workout and yes i still fluctuate my weight from 205 to 210. if i go in as an enlisted i will lose the weight in basic training. i Do not know what to do and need some guidance i am lost here. which ever service that would take me to my goal i will do it. I heard if i get a security clearance i will get a great job when i get out. or i stay in the service for 20 years. either way i want to do something with my life and want to get started now. i have been researching for the last acouple of months and found nothing besides both service are different in promotions and living conditions. i need people who are already in the service to give hand down knowledge of what will i go threw if i decide to do either service. mos could be anything, does not have to be intelligence i would prefer it but i will take anything that would lead me to a better candidate in either alphabet gov. or in the private sector... Thank you ahead of time for reading this long script, i really need help!!!!!!!!!!

To me it looks like you should join the air force.its not all flying jets and dropping bombs like a boss.actually, only about 5?f air force members are actually in the cockpit(but 98?f all statistics are made up so eh :/)

the air force deals with a lot of technical and intelligence jobs which is what i believe you would like.

btw its the same military. its all part of the u.s military. they are just different branches. and its not just the army and the air force. its marines, army, air force, navy and probably others that i forgot + secret ones. marines are, well, marines. we see em in movies all the time. army is... well the basic troops(not marines, just troops) and they are generally(in strategic terms) called riflemen, grenadiers e.t.c air force is.... well do i need to explain that? and navy.. well big boats/small boats/ underwater boats. + carriers so yea they are epic. not to mention that there entire staff is seamen(teehee)
from what i read i believe the airforce is the correct branch for you. but since you believed they were each a different military i advice you to look into it further before making your choice

I recommend going Military Police if you do. If so, any branch will be good for you. You will need to loose weight, yes. My max weight is 191, and I am 5'10". (USMC)

One service may suit you more then others but you SERVE in the military not the other way around. Outside of a civilian intelligence agency I don't' know if Military lintel would aid you in the civilian street. Not even sure if that would transfer well over to police work. Perhaps if it had a computer science component to the training then that may aid in computer forensics for cyber crime.

Other Career Questions

Once I graduate high school, I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, but I do know that I want to help people, especially through humanitarian work. I'm also considering joining the military, so my question is what are some military jobs that involve helping people? I would especially like to help with civilians in the area where I'm deployed, regardless of where that is, or what that may entail. So, if anyone has any career suggestions, advice, or other information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I was reading and it said that 95% of military jobs are open to women, and I am afraid one of them may be something I would like to do. And about the Navy SEAL thing, I just want to be a hero.. So, yeah..
