If the art department has a photography offering, that is what you want to do. Take all the classes they offer. Simple huh? Graphic design and photography require you to be able to use colour, space and shading to create compelling art and photography. I suggest you include graphics art in your curriculum

Anything to do with photography, art, design. Degrees are not important in photography.

Obviously the introduction to photography. Then photo imaging to train in post-photography processing. Such as using Photoshop. And business class in the creative-side industry so you'll have better direction on where to go as a career.

Take courses in Photography - everything they have to offer. Also take any courses in Lightroom, Photoshop, digital media. You need to know photoshop COLD. Then take every business course you can get. General business principles, running a business, bookkeeping, etc.
