This seems to be the core argument of the Republicans. It runs approximately like this: 1) The government is about management of money 2) Business is about management of money 3) Business in a free market is the best manager of money 4) Therefore business in a free market beats the government in management of money 5) Therefore let's eliminate the government and let business take over Do you agree with this line of reasoning? Geoffrey, so, corporations are people, but government is just a business?

Government IS business.

No. But it's also hard to take a number of republicans seriously, because they don't believe in the free market. Otherwise they wouldn't flip-out and protest when movies like Brokeback Mountain and Harry Potter are released.
