Why isn't my sim going to work on the sims 3?

When I look in the work menu it always say 3 days till work or whatever. She is the lead guitarist in the music branch. She used to go just fine, but now it always says she isn't scheduled to work, but she definitely should be. I'm still getting paid too (It says she is getting paid for time off, but I haven't taken any time off. I've even double checked this), but she has a negative mood icon now from her lack of progress in her field. This all started happening when she had a baby and was forced to take time off, but her baby is now a child and she still hasn't gone. >.< Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this? I know it isn't her mood since currently I am using the static mood cheat, which keeps my sims happy at all times. She is on 'vacation' all the time is what it looks like. She can still perform for her job. She isn't upset about missing work, since she isn't missing it, she's on paid leave or something, but she won't get off of that.

Man that sucks. It sounds like it might be a glitch. Maybe try resetting your sim to see if that works. resetSim [sim's first name] [sim's last name]. And check the forum to see if anyone else has had the same problem and if not, log a complaint with the tech staff... More
