What area of Canada has the best job prospects for British nurses?

My mrs and myself are both qualified, registered British nurses. She works in critical care and i work in mental health. I have obviously searched online for jobs but Canada is so big that it is proving impossible to narrow it down to one area. We like British Columbia but again, it is so big we don't know where to start. We would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance.

You will first need to contact the college of nurses in British Columbia and follow their instructions for IENs to apply for a license.They will assess your education and experience and decide if you meet their requirements to write the CRNE. I really don't know of any areas where they are in demand. There seems to be a surplus of them here as it is now. At least according to my mother-in-law who works at a major hospital. Most new nurses have to start out in some sort of temp job like home care when they are starting out.

To come as a skilled worker, you need to be in a place where they can't find a Canadian to do the work. As there are unemployed nurses, this will be tricky.
