What evidence do we have that Elizabeth and Mark Prophet of the Summit Lighthouse were simply deluded?

http://tsl.org/ I believe is their main website. Elizabeth Claire Prophet and Mark L. Prophet claim to have been chosen as channels for the Ascended Masters, although I have a sneeking suspicion that they were deliberatley deluding people for their own gain and ego's. They created The Summit Lighthouse as an alledged New Age organisation.

Oh please......back in my dark ages back in the late 70's I got mixed up with that crowd......mostly because of a girl......they were whack, crystal power, positive chanting......angel prayer. Even went to their San Francisco HQ Any Church that has its headquarters in frisco.....is whack

Mark had passed away years ago. then in addition to all the usual spirits being channeled. Elizabeth started channeling Mark as well. Elizabeth also passed away about 3 years ago.
