How long will it take the vicodin to leave my system?

I am planning on applying for jobs because I need one. The one I want requires a drug test. I have been taking one 500 mg pill a day. I am fairly thin and I drink only water and a lot of it throughout the day. How long should I stop taking it before I apply to make sure its gone?

Hey Sarah. It will take up to a week for the drug to be flushed out of your system. Good Luck on your job hunting :)

Since you are taking a low dose, I would expect it to be out of your system in 4-7 days, there are a lot of other factors to consider, weight, age, overall health. If you have a script, you shouldn't be concerned but if you don't, I would give it a week.
