What chelsea best combination at the "2" DM?

There are some options 1. Lampard mikel 2. Lampard ramires 3. Lampard romeu 4. Ramires mikel 5. Ramires romeu 6 mikel romeu I think the best options for that position are 1 ramires mikel 2 ramires romeu 3 mikel romeu As you have seen i havent included frank lampard in any of them. This is how much i hate too see him play their. Im a die hard chelsea fan. I love lampard. He my hero with terry and drogba and cech. But whenever i see him line up in that position my mood turns brown. He just spoils our fast flowing game. He is slow. He is 34. He does not defend. He stays infront sometimes with torres and when the opposition have the ball , which is mainly because he lost it, he never returns to help. So mikel has to do the job of 2 men. Ramires is natural player in that postion. He is fast. He link attacking and defending very very well. Mikel is also a natural DM while romeu is our future essien. We need to give him time on the pitch otherwise their are 2 endings for him. 1 becoming an average Dm like mikel. 2. Leaving the club. The most propable and worst scenario is 2. If he leaves chelsea will have a huge blow. In a few words they will lose someone ass good as essien. Anyway my point, and i know that many chelsea fans say the same thing, is that lampard should be benched. Sorry mate you are old. By putting ramires in the DM position we give the chance to moses who is a natural wright winger play. He is so goos with the ball. He delivers very good balls into the box.

I as a lifelong Chelsea fan have hardly ever criticised the manager based on team selections and have always backed the starting 11 the manager chooses 90% of the time, but quite frankly Roberto Di Matteo is getting his team selection wrong far too often. The players who have played average this season are Branislav... More
