Does your paramedic certification only work in your state?

There is a course at my community college for a paramedic certification, and i was wondering if i took it and got certified would i be certified in all states or would i have to becoming certified again if i move to a different state, ive been reading online and looking for paramedic jobs and some say things like "must have Georgia paramedic certification" which leads me to believe it varies.

Most states will accept the NREMT and your current state's certification for reciprocity. You need to look up the EMS certification website for state you are considering. only your state. however many states have ability to consider your state's certification for validation. get your certification in your state as it will cost 1000s$ less.
