The nanny state creates jobs but does it create a society anyone wants to live in?

It is an unbelievable step into Brave New world in living colour and reality The nanny state creates jobs ---- but it does so by creating dependance and stripping people of base skills to a level that could not be explained to a generation of people who read and were horrified by Brave New world I have known my friend "Johnson" since the 70's and he is now employing a number of social workers pharmcutical companies pschiatrists and so on They pick up his drugs for him they pay his rent for him they cook for him the monitor him they police him they keep him in a room about the size of a horses standing stall I watched it happen to him in such small slices over a decade I really didn't see what was in front of me They have this guy to the point of drooling half the time He hasn't cooked in years nor been to the inside of a grocery store in a decade I have the benifit of seeing him from the outsiders point of view He is or rather was a perfectly capable man who could work could think could function but via a system of offering convience he and 12 other grown men are kept in boxes drugged fed and policed to the point where none of them can function outside the realms created by a nanny state He really was a smart guy ............ now nanified to the point of useless He isn't alone there is a larger than belief would allow sub culture of government sponsored abduction via pharmaceuticals inducing people to let agencies think for them and they do it a slice at a time by offering "services" The nanny state creates jobs and a lot of them ................ but who wants to live in such a society? Fuller Oh So lets break it down into % or parts of the whole How many on pschiatric drugs --- 20 % How many unemployed 7.5 % but that figure only includes those on unemployment insurance payouts -- You are talking about huge sums of people --- in fact a literal army of social workers serving a literal army of people who have been made dependants of a system that feeds off them --- How many out of a 100 do you need before it becomes indicative of the whole and how many do you need before you will make a guess as to the motives of the corporations directly benifiting from the arrangement ALL pieces make up the whole and the pieces define the whole --- You know that or should So how many out of 100 do you need before you can come to any conclusions about the whole made up and defined by its parts ? Your national whole is made up of 20 % in the UK America Canada and Australia of people on mind altering prescribed drugs that makes many of them dependents of the state an To decimate an army is to make 10 % unusable in some way or another and not one person in or outside of any military now or at any time in the past would suggest that does not impact the whole You have massive groups being fed off far exceeding decimation ---

No the nanny state is another word for control. I don't want to be controlled I want the freedom to choose. Granted when you let people make their own choices they will from time to time make the wrong choices but even God lets you choose to accept or reject him. If you don't believe in God think about living under... More

Extrapolating a whole society from one case (Or even a thousand such cases) is ridiculous. There are sixty million diverse people in Great Britain and not one group can be said to represent the nation.
