Is it a bad idea to pour lager into a steam iron and use it to iron some shirts?

The kitchen tap is broken and I need to get a nice clean white shirt ironed for a job interview tomorrow morning. But without any water the only option to top up the iron (it is a quater full at the moment) is from my last can of Carlsberg lager. Would it be OK to pour just a little of the beer into the iron to keep the pressure on, so I can look presentable for the job?

Only if you want to make your shirt brown and blow the guts out of your iron. Go next door and ask the nice man in the white coat if he can lend you some steam.

I really wouldn't, I dont know what itd do to the iron but your shirt will smell of lager and will probably ruin your interview, go to your neighbours or get a bottle of water from somewhere to iron your shirt properly. DONT USE LAGER OR ALCOHOL! itll smell horrible

Even better idea, don't waste the lager. Drink it first then p*e into a bottle and use that in your iron.

rather idiotic question if one thinks for even a second about it. use common sense, get water from the tub or bathroom sink or the toilet tank even, all clean water sources. go ask a neighbor next.

If you're ironing one shirt a quarter full iron is more than sufficient to get the job done. You don't need to add anything.

Do you only have one tap ? Run the shower and catch water in a jug By doing this will not only ruin your iron But you will turn up smelling like an alcoholic Not the brightest idea at an interview is it ?
