high efficiency top load washer, may have been a Switzerland import but not sure.?

Many years ago (15 or so) I had the opportunity to buy a high efficiency washer that had a flat panel all digital push button, no dials to turn. There was one on display at some appliance store in Rock Falls, Illinois. I asked for a brochure and was eager to make a purchase on that particular model. Upon visiting a major appliance store back home I happened to notice the exact model in their showroom. I fell in love with it because it was the first upright clothes washer that spun the clothes so fast that they would dry in a matter of minutes! Well not exactly minutes, but drying time was nonparallel when compared to competitive washers. Unfortunately a salesman talked me into buying a front load washer that in his opinion, did pretty much the same job as this one did. It was cheaper too! I made the purchase and had been very happy with its performance, up until now. 15 years later the bearing is now bad. There is only one and the repair cost is more than the cost of the unit itself. So I'd really like to find that washer that I was so impressed with. I'm not quite sure that the factory was located in Switzerland, but the information on the brochure stated that the company would soon have a location in the United States. I only wished that I'd have kept that brochure. I'm hoping that whoever reads this either owned one or has more information about that particular unit. Because at this time I'd be purchasing one today if I knew where to find one. Thanks for reading! Just ONE response please? Today I spoke with salesperson at Grant's Hardware in my home town. And after a short conversation he was able to tell me that the washer was made by Fisher and Paykel. And although it has been over 15 years, Grant's still carries that brand, though changes here and there were made during that time period. I do plan on investing in that unit and I also thank you, Elsie, for assisting me. Had it not been for your comment, I wouldn't have made an effort to contact the the store that carried the unit.
