Best cruiser motorcycle?

So me and my wife along with another couple we know wanna get a cruiser style motorcycle. Thing is all four of us weigh roughly 210 each. But bein that our wives will ride with is itd be roughly 420 on a bike. I seen kawasaki had some cruisers that look decent like the vulcan 1700 class lt; would this work? Or is there a bigger bike for the job, if at all? Idk how the whole wet dry weight thing works but i noticed on the 1700 it said 761 curb weight? Not sure what that means, anyone know anything bout all this?

You've never ridden before? Don't buy a bike until after you take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation beginner riders course. More

It sounds as if you would be completely new to riding so I would recommend starting on something smaller by yourself to learn how to ride. Hopping onto a large bike like the Vulcan 1700 with a passenger without much experience can prove to be a dangerous if not fatal error in judgement . . .

If you are experienced, Harley Davidson Road King. Me? I would suggest the Suzuki S40, light, easy to ride, capable of cruising 75mph on the Interstates, solo. Four people, four motorcycles.
