Will Obama ruin my chances of going to college?

Ok, so I am worried about this year's election. My dad is a small business owner, a known enemy towards president obama. My parents have been saving my college funds since i was born, and throughout the recession they have had to dip into it to make ends meet. I am worried that if president obama gets elected, and our financial situation is not resolved, I will not have enough money to get into my college! I have a job, and i am a senior in high school. 85% of what i make goes into my college funds. the rest helps pay for gas for my car. I don't know a whole lot about politics, but hearing this information worries me. Can someone please help me? Then why has my dad's business, as well as many others, been struggling for the past 4 years? By the way, I am a very hard working student, I care about education, and I value other people's opinions. Please value mine too. @jasmine I know that, i am talking about the tax increase.

Educate yourself instead of repeating mindless drivel. Small business is not a known enemy of Obama. That's just right-wing propaganda.

The president has no sway over how much college costs. No matter whom the president might be.

Are you kidding? Obama's ENTIRE PLATFORM is based on education and getting people into college. If Obama doesn't win you can count on tuitions going up and scholarships getting cut. You can't blame the recession on Obama because it started before he even took office; times are tough but it takes time to heal an economy... More
