Studying electrical engineering to become an audio engineer?
Hi everyone, I am currently an electrical engineering student. I've been learning circuits, op-amps, and became interested in specifically sound engineering, so maybe that can be one of my career options. Personally I also really love music, music theory, composition, and I think mixing sounds would be an exciting job for me. So I was wondering, would audio engineers require an electrical engineering background? Also, what is the salary like for audio engineers? Thanks.

Audio engineering does not require an electrical engineering background, but I could see how it could definitely be helpful.
