How much should it cost to replace just the left front brake caliber on truck?
Make of vehicle is 2005 Ford F150 4x4 4.6 V8. I've been quoted $312 for just the brake caliber?

$40 to $50 for a new brake caliper and $20 to $30 for a set of new brake pads if you do the job yourself, it only takes about 30 to 40 minutes to do the job.

whoever told you that is bullshitting you. even for labor included, i do car work by myself and i could get the job done for just under $40 for the parts, also depends on what kind of calipers you would want.
