This is a bunch of conservatives executives laying off people so that they will not have to be seen breaking their promise. You see, a lot of CEOs tried to coerce their employees for voting republican by telling them that if Obama was reelected they'd have to lay off people.

No. People get fired every day. Getting fired is the consequence of working for a company with executives dumber than dirt. The CEO/BOD makes horrific decisions, those decisions cost the company millions, and people lose their jobs to cover the cost. It's the American way - dumb people go away.

One fact to add to the political discussion: the folks that SRA in Arlington laid off was because SRA just lost a contract that they had with the FDIC (meaning another company won the work). Their layoffs had nothing to do with the election.
