What happens in a college financial aide review board meeting?
Hello, I am returning to college after a 20 year absence. My history at the college had been very poor when I first started, after high school. In turn, my financial aide has been denied, as was my appeal. Today, I will have a phone interview, as I appealed the denial. Does anyone know what types of questions I can expect to be asked over the course of the 15 minute interview? I am so nervous!! Thank you!

What these folks are looking for is proof that if they give you aid and let you back in, you will be successful. So show them proof. What have you been doing for the past 20 years? if your appeal was denied, your chances are slim of changing that decision. Your best and only option is to pay out of pocket until you meet the requirements.
