How bad are the Fundamentalist religious people in your country?

You see, in my country, the belief in Jesus is so out of control that the Christians are stopping certain kinds of science, trying to change the school systems, condemning gays, and resisting efforts to stop the war or help the planet because of this Jesus character. They also believe that everyone else is going to hell to suffer for all eternity and that this punishment is deserved. This makes them think poorly of people with different beliefs than them.

I know my creation was due to lust and not anything God wanted. I was the product of very irresponsible beings. There is no chance I am going to make it past this life. I am slotted to be recycled into the elements of the earth and that is that. Why? Because I was not created out of love. God had nothing to do with it... More
