USAF DISABLED VETERAN IN NEED OF DRASTIC ASSISTANCE?
I NEED HELP. I'm a veteran. I did administrative/clerical work. I live in the Durham, NC area. I live next to TWO universities and no one will hire me for my skills and past experience so that I can go to school. NO ONE is calling me, my resume looks good. The only jobs available are the ones at Duke University, but speaking to them is like talking to a discriminatory brick wall. The only employment I have been able to secure is a retail position despite having BEEN in the USAF. I need genuine assistance. I need links that help veterans find employment. I need actual help. Not suggestions, not offhanded advice. Give me something that will work, change the situation I am in, or otherwise.

I have put out thousands of resumes and I can't get a job either, so I work a few part time jobs. You are going to hear two things: you don't have enough experience, or you are over qualified. I don't have anything more helpful to offer, I'm sorry. I just wanted to let you know it's not just you.
