Is an Associates degree a waste of time?

I want to attend community college but an Associates degree is not good for getting a job. Does Community college offer Bachelor's degree? I want to work in Animal care like a zoo or wildlife centers but I don't know if I can get any of those jobs with an Associates degree. What can I do?
