Should I switch my technology to get IT job in Canada?

I am software engineer having 3 years of experience in India. I am planning to goto Canada or U.K. to search for job as going to U.S. is difficult due to Visa processing. Currently I am working in Java Web Services but i don't know why I am not liking this technology. Should I shift my technology to something else like Android? I like to make new applications so I may like creating mobile applications. I am planning to take off for 2 months to learn any new technology so i might be good in any technology in 2 months and can show experience in same technology in my resume. Please suggest should I switch my technology? Which consultancy to go? Any other suggestions are welcome.
